Tillsonburg Plumbing Centre is a busy and growing plumbing company that has been providing services to Tillsonburg and the surrounding area for 50 years. Here at Tillsonburg Plumbing Centre we strive to provide the best service and products to our customers with a highly skilled and dedicated workforce. We have an immediate opening for a fully licensed plumber/ registered 5th year apprentice to join our team to complete service work and renovations.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
Must have a valid 306A Plumber Journeyperson Certificate (Ontario)
Must have a valid G Driver's License with a Clean Driver's Abstract
Experience with heavy lifting and physical labour associated with plumbing tasks
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills and an attention to detail
Teamwork oriented with a self-starter ability
Ability to listen and follow directions

Responsibilities:

Represent Tillsonburg Plumbing Centre in a professional, courteous and customer service oriented manner on each call
Perform installations, repairs and maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and public buildings according to local codes and regulations (faucets, sinks, bathtubs/showers, toilets, water heaters, water softeners and filtration systems)
Identify source of leaks
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks
Perform drain snaking and augering
On-site problem diagnosis, a fixed right the first time attitude, and continual value added communication with the homeowner/business owner
Service various pump systems
Properly clean and maintain equipment and vehicle
Accurately estimate labour hours and material quanities required for jobs
