Hello, I'd like you to meet Kovu, my male Flame Point Siamese Cat... I am going through a thorough selection process to accept no more than three "3" female cats to whom Kovu will be a "Stud." I am constantly asked about Kovu and if he can "Stud." So, before we go further I'd like to tell you a little about him...
Kovu is my 2-year-old Siamese who is almost like having a husband at home. He caters to everyone and is extremely loving and affectionate. When ready, he shows who the boss is by jumping on the bed and rolling about, begging for some love. Kovu will voice himself when he wants his meal or if anything isn't up to his standard. Our baby is an indoor cat, but we make sure he has lots to do. We only feed top-quality wet and dry food. We also provide snacks and some human or raw ingredients that are safe for cat consumption.
Kovu has some great breeding qualities to him. Firstly, he has fathered litters that he has always been involved with. He would do his part, such as cleaning, teaching the kittens how to use the litter box and teaching the little ones how to get active. He makes you laugh when playing with the kittens as he turns back into his baby stage. Not to mention, before and after birth, he caters to the mama cat's needs. I have never seen a cat move so fast when his female calls out, and he knows when she is carrying his little ones. Kovu knows when the birth time is nearing and caters even more to Mama Cat. There are days he will try to play with Mama Cat, but she may not be in the mood, so he knows when to back off. If not, the females always know what to do, and he will always get the point. ;) Overall, Kovu is, hands down, one of the best male cats we have had the chance to own, and we are so happy he is a part of our family.
He has produced offspring with the following points...
- Flame Point
- Tortie Point.
- Seal Point.
- Blue Point.
- Lilac Point.
Those inquiring about their female, your female must be no less than 18 months of age. Must either be an indoor cat or up to date with shots and worming. You'll need to prepare your female for temporary re-homing services which will be talked about further with the parents of the three selected females.
There will be a non-refundable deposit of $100. This is to secure your female cat's space. There will be a second meeting if mating is unsuccessful the first time. If still unsuccessful, then the amount will be returned in full unless any fees are incurred, such as feeding the female cat, litter usage, etc (this only applies to those whose cats need to stay longer than expected that wasn't planned.) Kovu's stud fee will include temporary re-homing for your female cat, high-quality dry and wet food, snacks, extra litter pan changes and anything else within means to provide and ensure your female is not only carrying little ones but is very happy upon her return. We will also try to ensure your female is at a healthy weight before returning home. She must be prepared to carry her kittens. Nourishment is one major factor for a female to carry and birth her kittens. It also assists with healthy milk production. So consider a higher quality food. We listed one other above, but there are other factors, so please be prepared. Do your research, and we will do our best to answer any of your questions or concerns.
