VIS Design is currently looking for to hire a full-time Structural Steel Detailer to join our team.

As a Structural Steel Detailer you will be responsible to prepare 3D models, erection and shop drawings following the structural and architectural design drawings using Tekla Structures.

Qualifications:

- Experience in Structural steel construction

- Ability to read Structural and Architectural drawings

- 5 years experience in steel detailing using Tekla Structures

- Familiarity with Canadian building codes and standards

- Ability to multitask with minimal guidance to meet scheduled delivery dates

- Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities:

- Create 3D model based on Project Documents

- Create erection, assembly and part drawings

- Review contract drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies

- Create and incorporate RFI

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
