English Long Case Movement Circa 1800.

Dimensions 5” x 6 ½” x 2 ¾”

The original hands for this movement are included, as are the pendulum and the hand-painted conch shell on the bob, and the suspension spring.

The bell and the weights are missing. The weights were 12lbs each in weight, 9” long & 2 ½” in diameter.

At some time in the past, holes were drilled into the corners of the front plate, to accommodate a dial whose footings had been realigned. These holes do not affect the normal functioning of the movement.

This movement came from a clock case that was dated through photographs by the NAWCC around 1800.
