A couple of months ago, my father sadly passed away. As part of his will, my boyfriend and I inherited his herd of 8 Anglo-Nubian goats. While the gesture touched us, we don't have the space or experience to care for them properly, and they're currently living in our backyard.
There's one male and seven females. We've kept them separated to avoid breeding, and they're all healthy as far as we can tell. I've reached out to a few friends on acreages, but no one has the setup or knowledge to take them on.
While it would be nice to make some money from them, I'm juggling school and work right now, so I'd rather find them a good home for free. If you or someone you know has the space and experience to care for goats, I'd love to hear from you.
