Our client is looking for candidates with industrial electrician license with experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
This is a unionized role with the following details:
• Pay rate: $42.81/hr
• Night shift premium: Additional $2.00/hr between 9 pm – 6 am
• Shift schedule: Overnight shifts from 6 pm – 6 am, 3 to 4 nights per week, including one weekend
• Extra premium for PLC technicians
• $600 annual tool allowance
• Relocation allowance: $1,000 - $1,500 for candidates from outside the province

Job Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain motors, control systems, field devices, and pneumatic systems.
Perform general maintenance of facility electrical systems (120-600V).
Inspect equipment for faults, adjust settings, and repair or replace components.
Use diagnostic tools (Multimeters, Insulation Testers, Thermal Imagers) to identify and resolve electrical issues.
Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools.
Follow preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment safety and performance.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, complying with food safety, health, and environmental policies.
Adhere to provincial and company-specific Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:
Red Seal or nationally accredited Electrical Trade certification (Required).
Minimum 3 years' experience in high-speed manufacturing; food industry experience preferred.
Strong proficiency in industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting tools.
Basic PLC troubleshooting and computer literacy (Excel, Outlook).
Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement principles.
