GOOD English is a must. Forklift experience and a valid license are required. MUST have experience operating Walkie AND Reach forklift in SMALL spaces.

PLEASE NOTE: This a warehouse position, you won't be operating a forklift 100% of the time, as there are other responsibilities included! You will be tasked with different jobs like organizing the cooler, keeping the shipping area clean (sweeping debris, stacking extra pallets, etc.)

Duties:

* Assisting with material handling throughout the warehouse
* Operating ride-on walkies, forklifts, Reach trucks (ex. Raymond Reach), and occasionally scissor lifts
* Assisting with inventory control using RF Scan Guns
* Assisting with loading orders and receiving/unloading trailers
* Moving boxes, stacking pallets – must be comfortable with physical work – ex. Lifting up to 40 lbs.
* Previous experience using Material Handling Equipment is mandatory
* Help to keep the warehouse clean and organized (i.e. sweeping, picking up debris, etc.)

Requirements:


* Previous experience operations forklifts, Reach trucks (ex. Raymond Reach), and occasionally scissor lifts

* Valid forklift license
* Must be comfortable with physical work – ex. Lifting up to 40 lbs, will not be only sitting in a forklift/at a desk!
* Must be good in English – speaking, reading, and writing
* Previous experience using Material Handling Equipment is mandatory
* Must be eligible to LEGALLY work in Canada full-time 

* Must be comfortable with a physical position (i.e. standing, heavy lifting, cold/damp environment)
* Safety shoes are mandatory

* Comfortable working around meat species such as pork, beef, poultry, and lamb
* Attention to detail

Shift Time: 9:00 AM – 5 or 6 PM
Shift Days: Monday to Friday, at least one Saturday a month for inventory count. Full-time hours with potential for overtime and the occasional Saturday

Pay: $18.50/ hour for start (The payment is weekly)
