Job Description:
● Transport bio-solids from water treatment facilities to agricultural fields in a safe and efficient
manner.
● Drive through rural and farm terrain, delivering materials to designated fields while maintaining
safety standards.
● Spread bio-solids across agricultural land, following specific guidelines for proper distribution.
● Handle the vehicle in different weather conditions and navigate uneven terrain, including
farmlands and rural roads.
● Perform regular vehicle maintenance, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
● Comply with safety regulations, environmental protocols, and company policies throughout the
job

Describe the Work Environment.
● Bio-solids handling: The Material has a strong odor due to treated sewage.
● Delivery locations: Vary per load; include Rodney, Chatham, Sarnia, Orilla.
● Driving conditions: May involve driving through farm fields or windmill driveways.
● Travel time: Up to 3 hours (especially above Orangeville), with deliveries inside buildings for
unloading.
● Training: Controller training varies by candidate, ranging from 1 to 3 weeks.
● Winter deliveries: Often require trips to Sudbury, where the trailer is dropped off at a yard off
Highway 69 and replaced with an empty one.
● Iroquois: Deliveries involve unloading inside a building

Must Have:
● 3 years of heavy haul experience (ideally steel hauler)
● 3 years of AZ Driving experience for insurance purposes
● Ability to speak and write in English
● Ability to drive 18-speed manual & automatic transmission
● Ability to get in and out of the truck when necessary
● Clean CVOR, and abstract (0 points, and no speeding tickets)
● Must be able to work 60 hours a week
