Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone in the pet-loving community can help. My dog (Morning Star), who has been my therapy companion for 8 years, is bleeding when he urinates. I discovered this late this evening when I was walking him before bed and unfortunately, his regular vet is closed. I spoke to the emergency vet at VCA, and they told me this is urgent—he needs to be seen immediately.

I'm on low income support and currently have no income. I've contacted multiple vet clinics around Calgary, but no one is able to help without payment up front, and I just don't have it.

This dog has been by my side through so much—he's my family and all that I truly have, and he needs me now more than ever. I've started a GoFundMe, and I'm also accepting PayPal or the vet under my dogs name Morning Star for anyone who may be able to help, or even just share the post.
