Urgent Help Needed for My Therapy Dog – Emergency Vet Care

Hi there,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart. My dog Morning Star, who has been my therapy companion for 8 years (prescribed by my doctor), is sick. He has blood in his urine. The blood in urine was discovered late in the evening after hours when his regular vet was closed I will have to reach out to them later in the day. I called the emergency vet at VCA and they told me this isn't something that can wait—he needs to be seen immediately.

I'm on low income and currently have no income to afford the emergency care he urgently needs. I've tried calling around to multiple vet clinics in Calgary, but none are able to help without full payment upfront—and I simply don't have it.

This dog has been my lifeline through the hardest moments of my life, and now he needs me. I've created a GoFundMe and also accept PayPal for anyone who might be able to help and also a phone number to his regular Vet and his full name is Morning Star, or even just share the post.
