Overview
We are looking for an experienced Auto Body Painter to join our team at 92 Collision and Autobody. As an Auto Body Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring that every vehicle we repair is restored to its original finish. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, expertise in paint matching, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities
• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming
• Mix and match paint to ensure accurate color matches for repairs
• Apply paint and clear coat using spray guns and other tools
• Inspect vehicles to ensure high-quality paint finishes with no defects
• Maintain a clean and organized paint booth and work area
• Ensure that all safety and environmental regulations are followed
• Work closely with technicians to ensure the correct parts are painted and finished properly
• Perform touch-up work and minor repairs on painted surfaces
• Keep up to date with the latest paint products and techniques
• Maintain inventory of paint supplies and ensure proper storage

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience as an Auto Body Painter or in a similar role
• Expertise in paint mixing, matching, and application techniques
• Knowledge of auto body paint systems, including base coat, clear coat, and specialty finishes
• Familiarity with spray painting equipment and tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality control in finishing
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in surface preparation and sanding techniques
• Knowledge of safety protocols and the proper handling of paints and chemicals
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with the team

Preferred Skills
• Certification in automotive painting or related fields
• Familiarity with eco-friendly and low-VOC paint systems
• Experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) technology
• I-CAR or other related certifications in paint application or auto body repair
• Ability to perform minor body repairs before painting
• Experience working with different vehicle makes and models
