This bike is less then 2 years old, it has only 545 Kms total since new. The batteries is 10A/h at 48volts. Battery last over 50kms depending how much assist is needed. It uses torque to engage the assist. It has a throttle to ride without pedaling if wanted. Very powerful to climb hills or fight strong head wind
