Looking for a new home is my 6 inch ACF from my previous etx-ls scope. The mount was something I could not get to work properly, and so I removed the OTA and dovetailed it for use on my lx65 mount.
I have since replaced this with another etx-ls 6 (to keep my etx-ls8 company) and decided to sell the OTA.
This is in near excellent condition and the optics as they should be with pinpoint stars.
There is one small mark under the dovetail, as seen in image 2.
I recall this gave me images that seemed sharper than my 8.

I have added a dovetail bar to the bottom.
Doing so was simple enough and I used the radii bars that were built in to the ota.
I am 99% sure the bar is exactly straight front to back BUT there is a little amount of space for wiggling if it is off my a mm.
Just a note: The front cell area is thicker than the rear cell area in that there is an inner plate that accepts the stock mounting screws.
To attach the dovetail to the rear, I had to add 2 more small holes to the rear cell housing behind the mirror.
To make sure nothing stayed in the housing that should not have been there, I removed the corrector (there are factory alignment marks),
had a wrapped vacuum line inside to pull any dust and then installed the corrector plate.
I just want to disclose for clarity.
Optics seem perfectly collimated as there was no need to touch the screws and the alignment marks were used.
Primary, secondary are clean.

I will post an image of the ota tomorrow.

The ungainly "camera" hump is still there though.
Cap, visual back, red dot are included.

I'm asking $600.

Shipping is an option but it is getting expensive so may not be economical, nor does the post office insure optics against breakage.
