Job Classification: Full-Time, Permanent RESPONSIBILITIES
• Safely transport freight locally, across Ontario and quebec
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies while working in a professional manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Consulting traffic and road condition updates
• Maintain accurate records by documenting loaded items and their original condition before departure.
• Supervising the loading, weight distribution, and securing of the freight. • Extensive knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance.
• Ongoing maintenance of the vehicle - Checking oil, fluid levels, and tire pressure, and performing minor repairs, as required.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, providing updates on job progress and any issues encountered.
REQUIREMENTS
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL), including AZ vehicle class licensing.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience as an AZ driver
• Clean Drivers Abstract
• Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact with others.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
