About the Role:
We are looking for a sharp, resourceful, and coachable assistant to join our team and work directly
alongside the owner. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk-all-day job. One moment you might be up on a
roof helping with a basic repair, and the next you might be preparing an estimate package,
organizing project files, or helping coordinate appointments. If you're a fast learner, think on your
feet, and are the type of person who just gets things done, this might be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with roof repairs and hands-on support at job sites
- Support with estimates, sales calls, and on-site consultations
- Handle basic admin tasks: data entry, organization, follow-up emails
- Use computer systems including CRM and project management software
- Clean, organize, and maintain workspaces, tools, and vehicles
- Communicate professionally with clients
- Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
What Were Looking For:
- Quick-thinking and solutions-oriented
- Comfortable with heights and working on roofs
- Coachable, curious, and eager to learn
- Tech-savvy and detail-oriented
- Able to juggle multiple tasks while staying organized
- Friendly, confident, and professional
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving record
- Someone with a sense of humour. (You'll need it.)
Nice to Have:
- Roofing, construction, or trades experience
- Familiarity with Mac computers, Daylite CRM, or CompanyCam
- Access to transportation
