Very rare piece!
Back in 1989, the entire team signed it except for Gretzky—he refused to sign because Marty McSorley had already put his name on it. Years later, in 1996, he finally signed it for a friend at his restaurant. I'm personally friends with the guy who owned it, and he knows Gretzky, so the story checks out.

I know for a fact this is a game issued stick with authentic signatures and anybody who disputes that doesnt know what they are talking about. Period. Date-stamping wasn't common practice until well into the 90s but it would be common sense that if the signatures are authentic, that obviously its the roster from 89!!! I won't respond to trolls or tire-kickers.
