Ideal Earthworks, a local earthworks contractor based in Sturgeon County, Alberta, is looking for a skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our crew.

Job Description:
This position involves operating skid steers for residential earthworks projects, including grading and backfilling. The successful candidate will also be responsible for hauling equipment to and from sites, so experience driving a truck and trailer is essential.

Requirements:
Experience operating skid steers in a construction setting (required).
Comfortable loading/unloading and towing equipment (required).
Attention to detail and can operate safely in tight conditions and around foundations.
Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively and safely.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on trucks, trailers, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (Class 5 minimum).
Strong work ethic – dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Able to work in all weather conditions.

Details:
Full-time
Expected hours ~40-50 hours per week
Typical schedule Monday - Friday (7:30am-5:30pm)
