Responsibilities:

Drive a truck safely, complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

Ensure the delivery and transportation of goods within established schedules.

Check the condition of the truck before and after each trip.

Complete required documents, such as delivery slips, on-board reports, and other administrative forms.

Comply with safety standards and perform necessary inspections throughout the route.

Effectively manage routes and driving times to maximize delivery efficiency.

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 driver's license in Quebec.

Experience driving heavy trucks (minimum 2 years or a CFTR certificate).

Good knowledge of roads and road safety regulations.

Ability to work independently and manage unforeseen circumstances.

Organizational skills, punctuality, and thoroughness.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including long-distance travel.
