History/Overview: Purchased in August 2021 fully restored from the Edmonton, Alberta area. Great highway cruiser. Drives super smooth with lots of horsepower. Regular maintenance performed at Cramer Automotive in Calgary. Synthetic oil always used. Looks right, sits right and drives amazing. Current odometer reading is 70997 miles.
Body: Very straight. Doors open and close nicely. Paint shows very well. Box is painted to match underneath.
Frame/Chassis/Suspension: Stock components front and rear. Truck is lowered 4 inches – nice stance.
Engine: Rebuilt and blueprinted 454 CID by Campbell Automotive in Edmonton, Alberta at a cost of $10,000.00. Edelbrock intake manifold with Holley 800 cfm carburetor. New battery. Chrome kit with K&N air filter and MSD distributor. Recent major tune up.
Transmission: Automatic with shift kit.
Differential: 3.73 gears. Runs with 2500 rpm at 100 km per hour.
Exhaust: Dual aluminized steel with cross over. Magnaflow mufflers and long tube headers.
Brakes: Factory front disc with drums in the rear. Recent new components including brake master cylinder.
Wheels: 15-inch steel with chrome beauty rings.
Tires: New BF Goodrich front 235 70R 15 and 295 50R 15 rear.
Interior: Leather upgrade at the cost of $6,000.00. Original gauges.
Extras included: Spare tire and truck cover.
Options and Special Features: Power steering, brakes, windows and locks. Tilt steering column. Tinted rear window. New dual tanks. Pioneer stereo with CD player, remote and owners manual. Tonneau bed cover. This is an original AC truck (system taken out). Factory AM FM radio/cassette player (not currently working).
Known issues: Windshield has one chip (repaired). Missing one beauty ring. Some light tree sap marks on paint (could use a clean and polish). Wiper switch issue (wipers come on intermittently). Cruise control not working. Could use a carb rebuild or a new carb – very slight hesitation with initial throttle but runs amazing at any speed including highway cruising. Speedometer reading is out a bit. Bit of wind noise from drivers window. Only one small spot of filler detected behind RH rear wheel. Tailgate paint does not match exactly. Very light orange peel – could use a polish.
Reason for selling: Downsizing – not driving it.
