GORGEOUS ENGRAVED ANTIQUE SILVER WITH ROSE & GREEN GOLD INLAY POCKET WATCH WITH STERLING SILVER CHAIN

Hello & Welcome .Up for sale we have an absolutely stunning engraved sterling silver Antique 1870s or so high grade Swiss made pocket watch with rose & green gold inlay on a 14 sided case & also with an excellent sterling silver pocket watch chain ..This watch was most likely made for the north American market but However it got here we are happy it did ..Please see photos ...

The enameled dial is in excellent shiny clean condition with the 24hr marked off in blue around the inside not often seen ..It has wonderful bright fancy Louis XIV style rose gold hands With a thick clear glass crystal .....Please see photos ...

The case is gorgeous fully engraved and inlaid with rose gold flowers and green gold for the leaf's ..A unique 14 sided tetra- decagon case ..The case is hallmarked for Swiss sterling silver & is in near perfect condition with just a bit of light scratching at were the covers open quite normal .. ...A good sized watch at 46.7 mm this case is known as a half hunter style ..All the covers open and close right & tight ..It has an excellent bow & crisp crown ..The whole watch shows little to no use over the last 130 to 150 years ...Please see photos ...

The high grade fully jeweled movement looks & runs like new & comes in excellent bright clean condition. because of the style of movement we are able to date this fabulous pocket watch to not likely before the 1870s up to the 1890s at the latest.. It has a perfect gold gilt finish with gold gilt gears with a blued steel hairspring with a solid gold balance wheel & shiny blued steel screws.. The movement is stamped H.P. but I have not been able to come up with a maker for those initials .This is a stem wind pin set watch both work smoothly.. It has been fully serviced & runs great & keeps fine accurate time ....It will come in a new pocket watch box to keep it safe .Please see photos
