Kitchen Manager Wanted – Pelican Pier Seafood Bar (Now Serving Breakfast!)
Pelican Pier Seafood Bar is a proudly family-run fish & chips restaurant with a loyal local following — and we've recently launched breakfast service! We're on the hunt for an experienced, hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house team and work closely with ownership and our FOH manager.

What We're Looking For:
Minimum 3 years of kitchen management experience with breakfast service
Food Safety Certification recognized in Alberta (Alberta Food Safety, FoodSafe, or equivalent)
Proven skills in:
Staff scheduling
Labour & food costing
Inventory management and ordering
Strong understanding of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and cleaning protocols
Calm under pressure, reliable, and great at leading a small team
Comfortable working closely with the owners in a tight-knit, supportive environment
Your Day-to-Day:
Oversee breakfast and lunch/dinner BOH operations
Lead, train, and schedule kitchen staff
Maintain food quality, speed, and consistency
Track and control food and labour costs
Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards are met at all times
Help us continuously improve and grow
