Toronto Stamp is looking for an individual who is experienced and motivated with the ability to provide efficient fabrication and finishing of a variety of products. The successful candidate's main responsibility is to program cut files using SolidWorks, Enroute, and Corel Draw, and run the files on the Router, or CO2 Laser. Assembly, finishing, packaging, and installations are all integral responsibilities, as well. A general understanding of several materials (plastics, metals, wood, adhesives, and vinyl), and experience using a variety of machinery (printers, laminators, power tools, CNC routers & lasers) are necessary to excel in this role.
The successful candidate must possess the ability to manufacture custom products from start to finish. You will work closely with the sales team, engineers, graphic designers, and other production workers. Additionally, this candidate would be responsible for installations at different locations throughout the GTA.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience in the Sign or Exhibit Industry with an emphasis on fabrication and application techniques. Must demonstrate the ability to learn about the application of a wide variety of materials including plastics (ACM, acrylic, styrene, PET, etc.), metals (stainless steel and aluminum), and all kinds of vinyl.
• Experience operating 3 axis CNC routers
• ENROUTE PRO V6 programming ability a plus
• Experience running large format roll-to-roll and flatbed printers
• Experience running roll-to-roll and table-top laminators
• Proficient in the utilization of precision measuring instruments to verify product specs
• Experienced with hand and power tools
• Ability to prioritize and develop efficient workflows
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with others including Engineers and Managers

Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00pm
