Job Title: Marine Mechanic
Location: Minaki, Ontario
Season: April – October 2025

Minaki Marina is seeking a skilled Marine Mechanic to join our team for the 2025 season. Our marina offers a vibrant and scenic working environment, servicing a variety of watercraft and engines. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on marine engines (both inboard and outboard) and equipment.
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical issues with boats, motors, and marine systems.
- Service a range of marine vessels, ensuring proper operation and safety standards.
- Handle heavy-duty and diesel engine repairs as required.
- Perform seasonal maintenance tasks such as winterizing, de-winterizing, and commissioning boats.
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide estimates and timelines for repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements:

-Proven experience as a Marine Mechanic or similar role in marine or small engine repair.
-Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as experience with heavy-duty or diesel engines.
-Ability to read and understand technical manuals and repair documentation.
-Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
-Comfortable working with a wide range of hand and power tools.
-Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
-Valid driver's license.
