Carpenter Role

DMC Contracting Ltd:

This position is for you if you enjoy problem solving and love to bring a plan to reality with your carpentry and organizational skills. DMC Contracting Ltd. has been around for over 15 years renovating, building custom homes and now custom cabins. We are looking for another driven and energetic Carpenter to join the team. Our field team works from 7:30am – 3:30pm weekdays only. We do not enforce weekends. We are based out of Abbotsford and do most of our work in: Langley, Surrey, Abbotsford, Maple Ridge, Mission and occasionally the Tri-Cities. We are looking for the long-haul team member willing to grow with the company.

We also have an opportunity for occasional out of town work (within 5 hours of Abbotsford). This work comes with a respectable Living Out Allowance and does not stretch on for more than 2 weeks.

• Leading a team of like-minded skilled workers
• Interact with ideal clients that have been handpicked to team up with DMC and have their project completed
• Required to produce solutions for the problems at hand, then present to management and clientele
(Foreman position available with higher pay and bonuses after probational period.)

Background needed and expectations

• Enrolled in, or completed Red Seal Carpenter training
• Driver's license and personal vehicle
• Positive attitude
• Team player
• Love their weekends and willing to put in a solid 5-day work week
• Great people skills and can perform under pressure
• Has organization and communication skills
• Basic hand tools and steel toe boots
• Healthy and athletic
