Every Second weekend

Requirements:

- MUST be able to speak/read/document fluent English
- MUST be a Canadian Citizen
- MUST have drivers license and own vehicle
- MUST have a current criminal record check within the last 3 years

ISO : Personal Support Worker (HCA) for a 27 year old man who has spina bifida and is in a wheelchair. The individual is very verbal and communicates his needs extremely well.

He receives funding from PDD and we are family managed care, NOT an agency or group home. The individual lives alone in his own home. The 72 hour weekend position requires you to sleep in the comfort of your own staff bedroom, which is furnished. Yes, you get paid to sleep lol

- every second weekend position (starts Friday 8am-Monday 8am) 72 hours/wknd= 144 hrs/month

PAYS $1,428/weekend = $2856/month before taxes, all pertinent taxes will be deducted.

Duties:

- ALL house cleaning duties, light yard maintenance.
- Prepare and cook delicious homemade meals/clean up
- Assist with feeding/water for his personal support dog (Small Yorkie)
- Assistance with ALL personal hygiene
- Must have a vehicle to transfer individual to and from places (mileage will be paid)
- help arrange recreational activities as per interests
- Engage in conversation
- must be able to communicate and document well
- medication administration
- extra hours can also be available as casual relief.
- I will be asking you for a current criminal record check ( within the last three years)

There will be a full orientation/training provided to the successful candidate.
