We're Hiring: Residential Construction Site Supervisor

We're a fast-growing residential builder in the Greater Toronto Area, and we're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Site Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations on our job sites. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you'll collaborate with various people, such as construction workers, clients, architects/engineers, and our subcontractors. If you have solid experience in custom home construction and you are organized, able to work well under pressure and know how to keep a site running smoothly, safely, and on schedule — we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily on-site construction activities to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to timelines
• Coordinate and manage trades, deliveries, and site logistics
• Monitor job progress, inspect work, and resolve site issues promptly
• Enforce health & safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized job site
• Communicate regularly with the Project Manager and provide updates on schedule, materials, and site conditions
• Perform basic site handyman work and minor carpentry when needed
• Reviewing Shop Drawings and Submittals for accuracy.
• Confer with superintendents or other managers to monitor construction progress, including worker productivity and compliance with building and safety codes.
• Submit change orders.
• Submit purchase orders.

Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience supervising residential construction sites (framing to finish)
• Solid understanding of Ontario Building Code and construction best practices
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of the complete construction process.
• Knowledge of current building codes and construction standards.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Working at Heights and other safety certifications are an asset
