My name is Meaghan, I'm a university educated young woman (33yo) living with Muscular Dystrophy and in a wheelchair. I live in the West End of Halifax, in an apartment.
The available schedule is Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays: 6:00 to 9:30 pm.
I am capable of speaking up for myself about what I need.
I am also a very organized person.
Duties include:
- light housekeeping
- cooking
-help with pet care
- companionship (I need emotional support, so a cheerful and supportive disposition is needed, and someone close to my own age)

I need someone who:
Has low anxiety
One of my biggest needs is with somebody who,
Is emotionally supportive,
Is calm,
Is patient,
Doesn't mind curse words,
Has a sense of humour,
Is tidy

You must be vaccinated against covid, be fluent in speaking English, be able to understand English directions well, and a nonsmoker.
I have some hearing loss, so you have to speak clearly.
You must be physically and mentally able to do this job. You have to be comfortable handling a guinea pig and not severely allergic to hay or essential oils.
