The CC-45 5 disc player, part of Marantz's 1995 line up, is an excellent performer, and solidly built. It uses a carousel style drawer to play 5 discs, and discs can be “hot changed” whilst music is playing. It received excellent reviews for musicality on its release.

It has lots of handy extra features like “peak search” that finds the highest output on a disc to set recording levels on other devices,, and a “fade out” function. It has both analogue and co-axial digital outputs, and a headphone output.

The original remote control is included with this unit.
