Look what was under the snow!!!

When we first arrived on the acreage our tree growing efforts had terrible results.
Each year we bought small trees, we dug trees on the farm, and we've planted them all.
We watched as the summer heat and the winter cold and the wildlife damage thinned out our tree lines. And we did our replacements each spring.
We did get smarter with out replacement trees, by plotting a small area with “spares”.
And over time we just kept adding to our hobby, now we have way more “spares” than we will ever need.
In a couple of weeks we will select a dozen trees for our own use, and offer other acreage owners an opportunity to replacement trees that have a solid start, and have been with us for 3-5 years.
We have both White Spruce (16” – 32”) and Blue Spruce (16” – 24”).
All trees are in 3gallon pots with a mix of topsoil and compost that has worked well for us. They are easy to transport and to plant.
We are asking $25ea.
