Meet Eska, a 7-8 year old spayed Siberian Husky. Eska is a former sled dog looking for her forever home. She is friendly with adults and kids, as well as other dogs. Eska is a couch potato, but she will need a fenced-in backyard. As a former sled dog, she is accustomed to living outside in her doghouse (which we can give you free of charge), but she is also very well house trained and loves cuddling A LOT. Eska has a strong prey drive so I wouldn't send her to a home with cats or pets that aren't dogs. She is, however, excellent with all dogs and would be happy to live in a household that has them.

She has beautiful eyes, one blue and one brown. I love taking her offleash on runs, but she does have a strong prey drive so she will chase squirrels, rabbits etc. She is trained to pull sleds, bikes, etc. with a harness, which I will give you.

Eska is missing one ear. Her breeder said it happened when she was born; her mom tried to pull out of the placental sac by the ear and it ripped off! She has no sensitivity around the missing ear area. She is overall in good health.

Reason for rehoming: she doesn't love running long distances with the sled. She would be much happier retiring from dogsledding to become a pet.
