We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team, providing daily care for an elderly individual who requires support with activities of daily living while living independently in her home. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while delivering high-quality care in a respectful and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with bathing, showering, grooming, and dressing/undressing
• Provide overnight monitoring and mobility assistance
• Assist with meal preparation, nutrition, and medication management
• Offer emotional support and monitor overall health
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Provide transportation and support with social activities
• Encourage exercise and creative activities
• Maintain clear communication and accurate documentation
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a caregiver or personal support worker is preferred
• Strong communication skills, patience, and compassion
• Ability to assist with personal care and mobility
• Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of privacy and dignity
Additional Information:
• Weekly Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week, including some days, nights, and weekends
• Compensation: To be negotiated
