Job Description:
We are seeking an organized and motivated Dispatcher to join our operations team in Calgary. As a Dispatcher at Incan Transport, you will be responsible for managing the daily scheduling of drivers, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in coordinating the logistics operations to ensure smooth and efficient transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and dispatch drivers for deliveries and pick-ups based on customer needs, availability, and priorities.

Communicate with drivers throughout the day to provide instructions, updates, and resolve issues.

Monitor traffic and weather conditions to ensure timely delivery and prevent delays.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle statuses, and schedules.

Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to deliveries.

Assist in managing fleet maintenance schedules to ensure optimal vehicle performance.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety, legal, and environmental guidelines.

Collaborate with other team members to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field is a plus.

Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role preferred.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in using dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of traffic laws, transportation regulations, and safety standards is a plus.
