We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Person to join our team. The parts person is responsible for the purchasing and distribution of equipment parts, fuel, lubricants, and shop and maintenance supplies. Additionally, this role is responsible for the tracking and data entry of parts invoices and preventative maintenance information.

Key Responsibilities
• Purchase parts and supplies at the request of managers, mechanics, and operators.
• Shop and compare the prices of parts, fuels, lubricants and other necessary items across vendors, ensuring quality parts are purchased at the best available price.
• Input invoices after purchase orders are received and accounted for.
• Input purchase orders for parts, equipment, or supply requests.
• Input preventative maintenance events and work orders to Axon Truck Software.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of parts from delivery vehicles, using loader when needed.
• Assist in delivering or picking up parts and schedule the delivery of parts.
• Direct parts and delivery drivers to appropriate locations for deliveries and pick-ups.
• Keep shop inventory and stock room in an orderly manner.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Certifications
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Skid steer and standard first aid preferred.
• Class 5 Drivers License.
Work Experience
• 4 years' experience in an equipment shop.
• Knowledge of trucking industry and specific parts and supply requirements an asset.

Technical Knowledge
• Knowledge equipment parts and heavy truck and trailers
• Knowledge of Axon Truck Software and dealership parts software is a definite asset.
o Willing to train the correct personnel with company software.
