Offering for sale this beautiful Black Walnut Coffee Table , hand made in Manitoba in our small family owned workshop located in Minto.
The top started as a 9 foot slab which has been divided and jointed, the splits have been bowtied with Oak and stabilized with black epoxy. The whole top has loads of character! The burl imparts a unique character to this top and another point of interest in this already unique piece. The base features 6 half lap joints and 2 bridal joints. The use of opposing angles in the base is an attempt to catch the eye and give the top a feeling of tension and suspension. The beautiful color and figure of the Black Walnut is accentuated by the Osmo finish.
