Retired Engineer is offering a few of my Large Vintage Vices, and some small Vintage vices for sale because I am liquidating my home workshop in preparation of moving to a Condo.
This offering is for a Vintage, (C.1950s) ROCK ISLAND Swivel Base Mechanic's Vice
The Jaws measure 4 ½ in and open up to 6 ½ in. Capacity above Slide is a large 5 in. Overall length measures 19in. and it weighs 75 pounds.
There are slots for “Pipe Vice” jaws, but those jaws are not included. The Dynamic Jaw and the Swivel move quite freely. There are no Cracks, Welds, or other repairs. No Rust. Jaws are in excellent shape for a 75 year old vice. This beast Weighs 75 pounds. A good solid vice made in Rock Island IL. USA. Circa 1950.s
