IMPORTANT NOTE:
For a rough estimate I can use approximate locations for the pickup and delivery of your RV.
HOWEVER….
I DO require the ACTUAL addresses for any pickup and delivery before being able to provide you with a firm quote, or before venturing out on any haul.
I am similar to AMAZON, Purolator, UPS or Skip the Dishes - - if you can't provide actual addresses (including rural locations) I cannot help you.
Google map pin drops also work for providing accurate locations for areas without standard addresses.
TIRE CONDITION:
ALL trailers MUST have tires that are in GOOD CONDITION, and be inflated to the pressure specified on the side of the trailer.
The older a trailer is, or if it has been sitting in one place for several years, increases the likelihood that the trailer will need tire replacement.
You can tell the age of a tire by looking on the sidewall. There will be a DOT code. The last two digits indicate the year that the tire was manufactured!! Anything that is 5 years or older should seriously be considered for immediate replacement.
See Here:
https://rvlifestyle.com/when-to-replace-rv-tires/
Often tires can appear to have sufficient air in them, but when a simple, inexpensive tire guage is used it often confirms that tires are considerably under inflated. Under inflated tires are a primary cause of tire blowouts!
Tire rubber deteriorates over time due to weathering. Tires with sidewall cracks or cracks in the tread will need to be replaced prior to any RV haul.
As a point of Advice:
When purchasing a used RV, ALWAYS physically look at the rubber on all tires.
This requires that you do an UP CLOSE inspection - not just standing back and assuming the tires “look ok”, or by giving a quick kick to the tires.
If the tires are not in very good condition, negotiate this into your purchase price.
I am highly safety conscious, so please be upfront about the condition of your trailer and your trailer tires with me. I cannot haul a trailer with substandard tires. It's that simple!
If you're trailer is in proper roadworthy condition, I will gladly haul the RV without hesitation.
