AccounTECH is a no-cost, government-funded training program designed in partnership with Retrain Canada to help EI-eligible individuals transition into the bookkeeping and accounting field of employment. Classes will be in person from Monday through Friday, 9 am-3 pm.

The program is specifically designed to meet job-specific technical skills aimed at meeting the requirements for current job openings in accounting administration roles across a wide variety of labor market sectors.

During this program, you will receive:

2 weeks of workshops on resume development, interview preparation and job search strategies in addition to individual career coaching
8 weeks of in-class training with Re-train Canada on accounting work-related skills and computer programs
2 weeks of work experience
Connection to the market with dedicated support from Job Placement Consultant for three months after completing training
Expected start date: 2024-02-20
