Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior.
Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Support individuals with dementia care by using appropriate communication techniques and activities tailored to their needs.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Document daily activities and report any concerns or changes in client status to the appropriate personnel.
Experience
Previous experience in assisted living, home care, or nursing home settings is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with caregiving practices, including meal preparation and medication administration.
Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
