Job Summary:

Dave Cut Make and Trim Inc. (DCMT) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating industrial sewing machines and producing high-quality garments and fabric products. This role requires precision, efficiency, and an understanding of garment construction techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate various types of industrial sewing machines, including single-needle, double-needle, overlock (serger), and coverstitch machines.

Sew fabric pieces together following patterns, specifications, and quality standards.

Perform stitching, hemming, binding, and other sewing techniques as needed.

Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality control measures are met.

Adjust machine settings for different fabric types and design requirements.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Perform basic machine maintenance and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.

Follow workplace safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a sewing machine operator in a manufacturing or textile production environment.

Knowledge of different fabrics and sewing techniques.

Ability to follow patterns, measurements, and technical instructions.

Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

Team player with good communication skills.

Basic knowledge of machine maintenance is a plus.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior experience in apparel manufacturing or a similar role required.
