Hello there, and welcome to MPower Math! :)

My name is Victoria and I am an upper year undergrad student in Mathematics and Statistics at Carleton University. I have extensive experience tutoring (5 years) in the Ottawa area to people of various ages and educational backgrounds. I absolutely love teaching math and providing the necessary supports to help students succeed in their courses! If you've struggled with math in the past, look no further! I am here to help :)

Supports and services I provide:
- One-on-one tutoring sessions, normally 1 hour per week (more hours are allowed if requested)
- Answering questions by email or text outside of tutoring sessions
- Customized study notes and summaries from tutoring sessions
- Extra practice problems
- Assessments to test understanding, if requested
- Session recordings, if the tutoring sessions are done online via Zoom
- Any other supports you think you need!

MATH 1007 - Elementary Calculus I
MATH 1009 - Mathematics for Business
MATH 2007 - Elementary Calculus II
- University of Ottawa:
Any courses on Functions, Calculus I, and Calculus II
- Algonquin College:
MAT8100 - Essential Mathematics
MAT8101 - Differential Calculus
MAT8102 - Integral Calculus
*I am currently not offering tutoring for Linear Algebra or Statistics; only Calculus.

Logistics:
- Location: Either on campus (Carleton, uOttawa, or Algonquin), at a local library, or online via Zoom (I provide the Zoom link).
- Time: You can contact me 48 hours in advance (at least) to arrange a time that works for us both (contact information is provided at the end). I will not accept tutoring session requests without at least 48 hours notice.
- Materials: You must send me your notes, topics, and/or homework problems at least 24 hours in advance of the tutoring session, so that I can best prepare for the session. Failure to do this may result in the appointment being cancelled.
- Deposit: A $20 deposit is required at the time of booking. Failure to send the deposit 48 hours before the appointment time means the tutoring session will be cancelled/not booked. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, you agree to forfeit the deposit.

Rates:
- One-on-one session, 1 hour: $60
- One-on-one session, 1.5 hours: $80
- One-on-one session, 2 hours: $100
*A session may not exceed 2 hours. Only 2 hours at a time (maximum).
*Both cash and e-transfer (to my email provided below) are accepted.
