St. Isidore Co-op is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Hardware Sales Associate to join our team.

This role is essential in ensuring smooth store operations, assisting customers, stocking shelves and maintaining a well-organized sales floor. If you enjoy working with hardware and tools and have a passion for helping customers, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Located in St. Isidore, our Co-op offers a Home & Building Center, Feed, Farm Equipment, Agro, Bulk Petroleum, Cardlock Services & Food Store.

What you will do:
• Greet customers and assist with product selection based on their needs
• Providing basic advice on hardware, tools, building materials and home
improvement supplies
• Stock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain store cleanliness
• Operate the POS system and process sales transactions accurately.
• Receive and unload shipments, verifying inventory accuracy
• Price merchandise and ensure product displays are properly arranged
• Monitor stock levels and report low inventory to management
• Answer customer inquiries in person and over the phone
• Follow safety procedures when handling tools and equipment.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Previous retail or hardware store experience preferred
• Knowledge of hardware products, tools and home improvement
supplies
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• The ability to work independently, and as part of a team
• Must be highly motivated
• Basic computer skills for operating the POS system
