Hello There,

We are a couple designing a new house in the country.

We don't see much architecture that appeals.

We are looking to collaborate with an architect who would work on their free time. Perhaps one who went to school imagining designing interesting, bespoke residences who, instead, is working on projects without passion. Maybe someone looking to enhance their portfolio. This is not a freebie, but the arrangement would be below commercial rates.

We want a simple, efficient house, that takes advantage of the expansive views that our land has.

Current elements:

ICF walls from foundation to roofline

Large, triple-glazed windows

Black standing-seam siding and roof

Tall ceilings

Central (or not-quite-central) hall with gallery
