Produced for a limited time in 2011 this special edition "50 Years" SG is based on the early-sixties Gibson SG guitars that the WHO's Pete Townshend played during the early sixties and seventies. The build quality of this guitar is stellar - equal to or better than many very pricey Gibson Custom Shop models. Very few Townshend models were imported to Canada. This guitar was imported privately from USA.

These guitars are very hard to find for sale, and usually fetch $3,000 or more in this condition. The guitar is in mint condition, probably played less than 20 hours. It was my late brother's guitar and I brought it to Yukon from Ottawa and enjoyed looking at it and occasionally playing it, but my rock and roll days are done and it's time to let someone else enjoy this beauty . Plays like butter. Killer P90 tone and sustain. Comes with original, very custom fit WHO-stencilled original hard case, owners manual, and original silver tuning keys (previous owner switched out the silver for black - a nice touch!).

Asking $2400, and it's already in the Yukon! Such a pretty guitar. I am not interested in shipping it anywhere, please don't ask. I can deliver it anywhere around Whitehorse. I live north of the city, and can bring it to town if you want to test drive it.
