A finish trim tradesman is responsible for installing doors, trims, casings, and any other finishings necessary to finish up the construction job. They must be skilled in measuring, cutting, and fitting trimsl to create smooth, seamless surfaces that are ready for painting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Measure and cut trim to fit specific lengths
· Hang and install doors
· Install flooring
· Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
· Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Experience:
· Two years of experience in finish trim work and/or flooring
KEY COMPETENCIES
· Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials, as well as stand, kneel, and crouch for long periods of time.
