Capital Seafood International Inc., located in Eastern Passage, NS, is a fast-growing seafood exporting company. Capital Seafood's main business is live lobster, along with ground-fish and some other species.

Capital Seafood is looking to immediately hire a Commercial Class 3 Driver. Capital Seafood regularly requires pickups and deliveries to be made with its straight truck (10 wheeler). This person must be responsible, trustworthy and reliable. Typically, pickups and deliveries are made (but not limited to) within Nova Scotia. This person must be able to drive a standard transmission.

Experience hauling seafood/refrigerated products would be an asset.
The ideal candidate for this position would have the following skills/soft skills:
• Good positive attitude
• Attention to detail
• Have a Class 3 license with a minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience (a Class 5 with air-brakes endorsement would be considered with 3 years of commercial driving experience)
• Have some experience within the seafood industry
• Be willing to learn/grow with the company
• Be willing to work evenings/weekends/holidays if needed
• Organization skills – for shipment/pickup paperwork, logbook, fuel receipts, etc.
• Be “hands on” and be willing to help with various tasks around the plant during minimal driving days
