Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Caregiver to support a young child with autism. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment, helping the child with daily routines, developmental activities, and personal care. This position is within a private household, and the caregiver will work closely with the family to create a personalized approach to support the child's unique needs.

Responsibilities:
o Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, dressing, and hygiene.
o Create and engage in activities that promote social, emotional, and developmental growth.
o Provide consistent support and encouragement to help the child develop self-care skills and independence.
o Monitor and manage the child's behavior and implement strategies as directed by the family or healthcare professionals.
o Ensure a safe and supportive environment, addressing any immediate needs and maintaining a calm atmosphere.
o Communicate with family members about the child's progress, needs, and any concerns.
o Provide companionship and emotional support during daily activities.

Qualifications:
o Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, is preferred.
o Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and effective caregiving strategies.
o Patience, flexibility, and a caring, positive attitude.
o Ability to create a structured routine and adapt to the child's needs.
o First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
o A valid driver's license may be required, depending on job duties.
