Immediate opening for an experienced heavy duty mechanic.

Excellent benefits package paid by employer, including family coverage (100% employer paid coverage, not 80% like most plans). Includes dental, vision, life, paramedical, drug, etc.

Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of heavy equipment both in shop and on site
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Assemble and disassemble equipment as needed
- Weld and fabricate parts when necessary
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment

Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulics
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
- Skilled in welding and fabrication techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

This position requires the ability to perform heavy lifting, work with various makes and models of construction equipment, and have a strong mechanical knowledge. Experience in equipment repair, HVAC systems, forklift operation, welding, fabrication, and customer service is highly valued.
