Cheshire Homes of Saskatoon is a non-profit charitable organization established in 1970. It is a place in which the residents with disabilities can acquire a sense of belonging and of ownership by contributing in any way within their capabilities to its functioning and development.
Our Mission is to provide an accessible, comfortable home with personal support services for adults with physical disabilities. To achieve our mission, we will foster an external environment of interdependence and an internal environment of individual independence within Cheshire Homes.

Experience in ground keeping, painting and carpentry would be an asset, but is not required. This would be a great environment to learn these skills for anyone who is interested.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Maintenance/ Grounds Keeping
Duties and responsibilities:
• Upkeep of grounds (mowing lawn, watering, planting/ maintenance of flower bed and tree trimming, etc.)
• General clean up duties of grounds and exterior of buildings
• Repair and maintenance of irrigation system
• There will be a variety of other renovation and repair duties which could include any of the following, painting exterior and interior, wall repair, minor electrical and plumbing tasks, and some general carpentry
