Vintage 1940s Rolex Skyrocket Gold-Filled Military Men's Watch. The Rolex Skyrocket was one of several models made specifically for the Canadian market. These ‘Canadian Rolexes' had manual Swiss movements that were packaged into Swiss Oyster cases and cases made in other countries. This Rolex Skyrocket has a 32mm x 35mm gold-filled case, a military dial, and a robust manual wind movement, which was marketed by the Eaton's department store to Canadian WWII fighter pilots. It is an excellent artifact of Canadian history.
