We are looking for a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide in-home care for a senior Punjabi woman in her 70s with early-stage Parkinson's. The client is mobile with support and requires assistance with daily living activities.

Schedule:
7 days a week
Evening Shift: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
We are open to hiring separate caregivers for weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities:
✅ Assist with personal care (oral care, toileting, bathing, dressing, and grooming)
✅ Support client in safely moving up and down stairs
✅ Light housekeeping and laundry assistance
✅ Meal preparation: Prepare fresh rotis (using pre-prepared dough) for breakfast and lunch; serve with pre-prepared curd, vegetables, or curry
✅ Monitor and assist with ostomy bag care
✅ Provide companionship and emotional support

Requirements:
Fluency in Punjabi is required to communicate effectively with the client
Experience working with seniors and knowledge of senior care practices
Reside within a 20-minute drive of Carrington, Calgary
Valid driver's license and own transportation (must be able to drive to work)
Ability to safely assist with mobility and transfers
Knowledge of ostomy bag care

Compensation:
$19-21 per hour, negotiable based on experience

Preferred Qualifications:
⭐ Previous experience in home care or senior care
⭐ Training in personal support work, nursing assistance, or home care
⭐ CPR/First Aid certification is an asset
